A homemade bomb has allegedly been found inside a home in Melbourne's inner west.
Police allegedly found the homemade explosive device inside a property at Swaby Square in Footscray as they were doing a warranted search about 9am.
A man in his 30s has been arrested as police continue to investigate their findings.

Judge Anthony Kelly has extended the orders which allow Djokovic to stay in Melbourne while his appeal is heard until 8pm.
They were due to expire at 4pm.
The court has been adjourned again at Commonwealth government barrister Christopher Tran's request.
Mr McGowan said WA's current proof of vaccination requirements will be expanded further in the coming days. 
"We are currently finalising a longer-term policy which will cover a wide range of licensed events and venues, restaurants as well as riskier environments like indoor fitness centres," he said.
"This policy will come into force as we move closer to easing border controls."
WA will launch a new app tomorrow to make the process of showing proof of vaccination easier.
Mr McGowan said this is important for the state as it begins to implement its safe transition plan from February 5.
Mr McGowan acknowledged the sizeable freight movements coming into WA to ensure the continuity of supplies in the state.
"The sheer number of cases in the rest of the country right now, it is placing pressure on supply chains across a number of industries," he said.
"There is a dedicated team working hard to ensure our supply chains continue to operate safely."
The premier said 227 truck drivers were stopped at the South Australian border yesterday. 
All were required to take a rapid antigen test and only one was positive. 
The truck driver has now remained in South Australia.
WA Premier Mark McGowan said the state has recorded three new cases of COVID-19.
All three were in quarantine already. 
They are not believed to have been infectious in the community.
